Liverpool not willing to include buy-back clause in potential Ceballos deal

Liverpool not willing to include buy-back clause in potential Ceballos deal Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been heavily linked with a summer move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly given the club the green light to pursue the 22-year-old, who is surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu. The 22-year-old will reportedly cost €50 million to any potential buyer, however, the Reds, according to Spanish outlet Marca, cited by Sports Witness, are unwilling to include a buy-back option in a potential deal. Madrid will only sanction a summer move if they can guarantee a buy-back clause, which could prove to be a stumbling block in the three Premier League giants’ pursuit of the player.

The 22-year-old would be an excellent addition by either side, however, the Spaniard would more than likely be guaranteed more game time at the Emirates.

Unai Emery has been calling out for a player like Ceballos, with the Gunners boss clearly not a huge fan of German playmaker Mesut Ozil.

Spurs will be able to offer Ceballos Champions League football, however, the midfielder would more than likely be a key member of the Arsenal side, whereas he may find himself in and out of the Tottenham side if he chooses to link up with Mauricio Pochettino.
