  UK police to travel to US in car crash probe LONDON (AP) — British police plan to travel to the U.S. to interview an American diplomat's wife involved in a crash that killed a British teenager. Northamptonshire Police Chief Nick Adderley said Tuesday that officers will travel as soon as their visas are arranged. They plan to interview Anne Sacoolas about the crash that killed 19-year-old Harry Dunn in August when his motorcycle collided with a car allegedly driven by Sacoolas outside a British air force base in southern England used by the U.S. military.Sacoolas left Britain shortly after the crash, though police released a statement saying she had previously told them she had no plans to depart.

Scottish runner Eilish McColgan has described seeing " blood everywhere " after being involved in a horror car crash in India . The Olympian , who is the daughter of legendary athlete Liz, was in a taxi with her boyfriend Michael Rimmer when it smashed into another car sending it flipping out of control.

Eilish McColgan (born 25 November 1990) is a Scottish middle-distance athlete who competes in the 3000 metres steeplechase and 5000 metres. She represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

The Olympian, who is the daughter of legendary athlete Liz, was in a taxi with her boyfriend Michael Rimmer when it smashed into another car sending it flipping out of control.

Thankfully the 28-year-old and her partner were unharmed thanks to their seat belts.

SCOTTISH athlete Eilish McColgan said there was " blood everywhere " after she was involved in a horror taxi crash in India . The 28-year-old and her fellow runner boyfriend Michael Rimmer were enjoying an idyllic holiday in Delhi when a car smashed into their cab in the early hours of this morning.

She wrote on Instagram on Friday night: "Me and Michael were in a horrible car crash! We are still in shock to be honest.

"I remember saying to Michael 'thank God this Uber has seatbelts' as none of the other cabs did.

"Half way into our journey at around midnight, a car cut across us on the motorway and we smashed into it.

"I have no idea how, but both Michael, the taxi driver & myself got out the car unharmed. The other vehicle flipped.

"I'll honestly never forget seeing the driver climb out of his car, missing what looked like the majority of his hand. There was blood everywhere."

Eilish described how a group of intimidating men immediately surrounded their taxi. The driver asked her to hide his phone as they were "threatening to kill him".

The middle-distance runner then told how an Indian stranger helped them to safety, taking them to a hotel where they waited for police.

She added: "We were safe but the only option was to get a local night bus to Agra. We boarded the bus, crammed in with 30 other people, holding our luggage for over 4 hours to Agra."

"Part of us wanted to get on the next flight home, but another part doesn't want one bad experience to ruin the opportunity to make some amazing memories in this incredible country!

"The stranger who helped us to safety reminded us that there are a lot of good eggs in this world! We will be forever grateful for his kindness."
