With the game drawing to a close and the Sharks out of sight, Odogwu went up for a high ball and when it was in his full control mid-air, he appeared to thrust out his leg into the face of Rohan Janse Van Rensburg.

The 22-year-old was given his marching orders for his actions but seemed perplexed at the referees decision, opening his mouth in shock as Tom Foley held aloft the red card before laughing off the call.
