Manchester United ’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, has insisted Paul Pogba will remain at Old Trafford after all European transfer windows have closed.

José Mourinho’s club have broken the world transfer record to re- sign Paul Pogba , the 23-year-old France midfielder, from Juventus.

The French international's deal with United seems to have taken forever, but it looks like Pogba is slowly making his way to the club from the US — via a quick stop in New York City.

It has still not been confirmed exactly how much United will pay for Pogba, but is expected to exceed the record-breaking £85 million ($113 million) Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in 2013.

Some have already suggested the Frenchman is overpriced, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger saying the figures involved were "completely crazy" and ex-United player Paul Scholes claiming Pogba would be a "waste of money".
