Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly prepared to reject advances from Paris Saint-Germain with the former Juventus boss preferring to replace Antonio Conte at Inter Milan next season.

The 53-year-old has been away from the touchline for 12 months after leaving the Old Lady last summer following a hugely successful stint in Turin, where he won Serie A five times in a row.

Allegri is one of the most highly-sought after managerial talents currently available, and is regularly linked with posts at Europe's top clubs when they become vacant.

PSG's appearance in Sunday's Champions League final was the furthest they have reached in the competition. However, the club are desperate to win the tournament and may seek a change to deliver the coveted prize.

Meanwhile, Conte's future at Inter looks very uncertain with the former Chelsea boss enduring a frosty relationship with the club's owner, Steven Zang.
