Ex-Atletico Madrid man Jota has made 131 appearances for Wolves, scoring 44 times, and he netted two hat-tricks in last season's Europa League campaign.

Dutch youngster Hoever has only played in four games for Liverpool - all in domestic cup competitions.

Jurgen Klopp said: 'He gives us real options for different systems because he can play pretty much all three positions up front in a 4-3-3'.

"Ki will join us," Nuno added.

"He's a young player who has potential and talent. It's up to us to get the best out of him.

"Ki is not eligible for Monday. He'll join us tomorrow, we'll integrate him. It's a small squad, he can give us good options.

"I'm really looking forward to working with him, but the squad is not closed and we need to work on that."
