The national financial prosecutor opened an investigation in 2017 into the links between the president of the French Federation rugby player and the boss of the Altrad group.

The president of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) Bernard Laporte was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 22, as part of the investigation opened in 2017 into his links with the Altrad group, owner from the Montpellier club and sponsor of the XV of France.
