But that hasn't stopped reds marking the occasion across the world, including right here in Belfast where a billboard has appeared dedicated to the 2019-20 champions.

The billboard is where Great Patrick Street meets Dunbar Street and says "Belfast Reds, You Waited 30 Years To Be Premier League Champions. Ats Us Nai."

Head of Brand & Marketing at The Anfield Wrap, Craig Hannan who hails from Northern Ireland said, "Last summer The Anfield Wrap commissioned the Trent Alexander Arnold mural in Liverpool to celebrate winning the European Cup and we loved seeing so many fans travelling across the water to see it and get their photo taken."

"But this year with the pandemic, we knew fans haven't been able to get to Liverpool for games, or celebrate in the way that everyone would have liked to and so we wanted to bring something to cities around the UK and Ireland to remind Liverpool fans (and their rivals...) that we're the Champions - and being from Northern Ireland, I obviously wanted it to begin with Belfast!"
