I think a top - four finish has to be Tottenham 's ambition now they've added Bale , otherwise why would they bother? Some excited voices think they are title contenders after Harry Redknapp backs former club Tottenham to WIN the Premier League title this season but his son Jamie isn't convinced!
Gareth Bale is likely to make his Tottenham return against West Ham and will surely hope to make a statement. But the introduction of Bale could interrupt Son and Kane’s electric partnership. Giovanni Lo Celso’s presence will also be missed in midfield.

Tottenham's new front three featuring Gareth Bale is mouthwatering — but fans must give him time to build an understanding with Harry Kane.
We've seen Kane and Son Heung-min develop a fantastic partnership that helped Spurs hit five at Southampton and put six past Manchester United.
Bale is a different type. He likes the ball to feet so he can run at people and get his shots off.

He's not as willing as Son to run in behind without the ball but he is capable of it. Finding the balance and learning each other's game will be key to how the dream team works out.
Gareth Bale's agent tips Tottenham to battle for the Premier League
Gareth Bale rejoined Tottenham in a sensational loan move from Real Madrid this summer, after agreeing a deal to return to north London for around £13million. Bale has yet to feature for Spurs second time round as he continues to step up his return to fitness following a knee injury, but Jonathan Barnett believes Jose Mourinho's side will be a different animal when he finally steps back onto the pitch.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Gareth Bale may lack the pace he had five or six years ago but can make up for it with his improved passing range, the Premier League club's former manager Glenn Spurs are sixth in the table with seven points after two wins from their opening four matches this season.
Gareth Bale gave his side hope with a goal shortly afterwards but the real damage was done and Chelsea reasserted their authority to finish easy He rolled William Gallas inside the area before flashing a stunning finish high past keeper Carlo Cudicini. The second half was only four minutes old
Assuming Bale plays off the right, it's all about Kane working out the runs that Bale makes, whether he goes out to come in, or keeps a bit more width. Those little details are important and Kane will relish getting on the end of some Bale crosses, too.

Jose Mourinho will be integral to how things go. His teams always play in a certain structure and he may think that playing with wing-backs is the best way to maximise Bale. You don't want him chasing the opposition left-back if Spurs go with a back four.
Sunday's home game against West Ham could provide a clue. The Hammers usually play three at the back so Mourinho will be tempted to match them.
MARTIN KEOWN: Bale is being welcomed back at Spurs with open arms
MARTIN KEOWN - INSIGHT: Gareth Bale has arrived back at Tottenham after seven years to a brand new stadium and a state-of-the-art training base. It is very different to what he will remember.I didn’t need a tour. I knew where everything was and it felt like I had come home.

The race for the Premier League title looks set to go to the wire with Liverpool and Manchester City fighting it out for top spot. Tottenham still have enough about them to arrest their recent slump and finish in the top four . I expect the other place to be between Manchester United and Arsenal as

I've no doubt Bale, Kane and Son will work it out. Great players are great decision makers.
I think a top-four finish has to be Tottenham's ambition now they've added Bale, otherwise why would they bother?
Some excited voices think they are title contenders after the rout at Old Trafford. I don't subscribe to that view, they still have too many frailties in defence and midfield.
But a cup and Champions League spot? Why not — the squad looks as if it has greater depth now.
We don't know Bale's physical condition, but I'd say don't expect the best out of him for another month. If they do hit it off, that front three will be as good as any in the country.

Mourinho insists Gareth Bale is NOT the same player that left in 2013 .
Jose Mourinho was left furious, admitting he wanted to make 11 changes at half-time, but when Gareth Bale's dismal showing was brought up, the Portuguese tried to be philosophical.Bale was among a number of players who disappointed in the Europa League on Thursday night as Tottenham lost 1-0 away to Royal Antwerp.
