Conor McGregor has been pictured back in training as preparations get under way for the UFC star's return to the sport against Dustin Poirier next year.

The former two-weight world champion, 32, has accepted a rematch with Diamond on January 23, having beaten the former interim lightweight champion in a featherweight match up in 2014.

A deal that would see the two fan-favourites clash once again is all but agreed, with paperwork still to be signed, and McGregor is looking to compete at Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium.
