The defender picked up a knock in Rangers' 2-0 win over Ross County last weekend but travelled with his country for their games against Switzerland, Sweden and France.

It's been an excellent month for Rangers, but things can get even better for the Ibrox club.

That's the message from left-back Borna Barisic, who believes there's still room for improvement.

Barisic went off injured in the Europa League win against Standard Liege, and was replaced by Calvin Bassey.

The former Leicester academy player started in the victory against Livingston on Sunday, but Barisic is expected to return to Steven Gerrard's side soon.

Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “I’m happy and everyone is happy.

“Right now we are in a very good position but we need to keep going and work hard to keep playing well. But right now we are in very good shape.
