In fact, the midfielder was just delighted to be out in the fresh air, kicking a ball.

He said: “It’s been tough because I couldn’t go outside but the club made things quite easy for me.

“I could train indoors on the bike, do some weights and the analyst was sending me some video of the tactics and how the team plays, the shape and everything.

“Everybody is talking about the ambiance and how the stadium is when there are fans – and 
I’m looking forward to 
experiencing that myself.”
