With half the games now played ahead of tonight's fixtures, the 12 groups of the Europa League are taking shape nicely.

While Rangers are in a good position to qualify and Celtic are struggling there is still plenty of football to be played and both still have qualification chances to get their teeth into.

Should either, or hopefully both, get through to the knockout stages there will be some top teams lying in wait, not least those dropping in as third placed qualifiers from the Champions League.

But there are a few sides already making light work of their games at this level who seem certain to make the draw.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given their relative financial strength Arsenal can qualify with a win tonight and are yet to drop a point. With Irish minnows Dundalk yet to register, Norwegians Molde and Rapid Vienna will fight it out for the second spot. Molde have already beaten them on their own patch but it looks certain this group will come down to the final game between the two in Austria.

Rangers and Benfica are in prime position to qualify with seven points from their opening three games. The Ibrox club came within a minute or so of winning in Lisbon and will want to cement their place in the next stage by taking the three points in Glasgow tonight. Standard Liege need to win this evening to have any chance of qualification but should they do so it will almost certainly cement the top two as likely qualifiers given the four point gap it would result in with only two games left to play.

After a brilliant campaign last term, the Hoops haven't been at the races this time. They need a win in Prague tonight but even then it would take a lot of things going their way to qualify - and they still have to go to the San Siro. It seems likely that Milan and Lille will take the top two qualifying slots comfortably but if Celtic can find the form that saw them defeat Lazio home and away you never know...

Spurs have far too much for the rest of the teams here but were punished for their complacency when losing to Antwerp. Expect that to be a catalyst for improvement and you wouldn't be surprised to see Jose Mourinho's men ease through the rest of the games. With both the Belgians and Austrian side LASK on six points it will be tight to see who joins them in the next round and much will come down to the face off between in Linz tonight.

A tight group with only three points separating the four teams, you'd have to fancy unbeaten Dinamo Zagreb to make it through. Celtic fans unimpressed with McGregor's Milan performance .
Things didn’t get better for Celtic on Thursday evening in their dead-rubber clash with AC Milan in the Europa League. The Hoops fell to a 4-2 defeat in Group H, and many supporters weren’t impressed with midfielder Callum McGregor at the San Siro. The 27-year-old once again featured from the off, in what was his 23rd appearance in all competitions this season. [Transfermarkt] Neil Lennon’s side made a bright start in Italy, with goals from Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard giving Celtic a surprise early lead. However, a free-kick from Hakan Calhanoglu followed by an effort from Samu Castillejo levelled the scores after just 26 minutes.
