Former Premier League Striker Tips Michail Antonio To Sign New Contract Former Everton and Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has tipped West Ham striker Michail Antonio to sign a new long-term contract at London Stadium in the near future. Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell stated his belief that the club and player will “come to an agreement” over a new deal before the end of the season. The 30-year-old has missed the Hammers’ last two matches with a hamstring injury suffered against Manchester City, a game in which he scored the opening goal in style.

David Moyes will have to once again call upon Sebastien Haller to lead the line for West Ham as Manchester United visit the London Stadium tonight.

Michail Antonio was confirmed to have picked up another hamstring injury after only making a comeback last Monday, so Moyes will almost certainly turn to Haller at centre-forward.

The Hammers will start the game above their visitors and can be confident of giving them a difficult game, despite Antonio’s absence.

Moyes’ side enjoyed success last season against Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men and the Scot will be hoping to get one over his old club once again.

West Ham Player Ratings: Sheffield United (A) Sebastien Haller was the West Ham hero as David Moyes’ side made it back-to-back 1-0 victories either side of the international break with a hard-fought triumph over Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon. Unchanged from the 1-0 win over Fulham at London Stadium a fortnight ago, the Hammers perhaps had the better of a tight first half consisting of few clearcut chances. The second half began much in the same vein before Haller, who continued to deputise in the absence of Michail Antonio, let fly from the edge of the area after a Pablo Fornals shot was blocked.

Manchester United 1 - 1 West Ham (Greenwood, 50 mins). Excellent build-up here from United , with Greenwood passing to Martial, getting it back, giving it to Martial again, getting it back again, and then smashing a low left-footer inside the near post. Almost a trademark finish, if an 18-year-old can have

This clash will also see fans return to London Stadium for the first time this season in the Premier League as 2,000 spectators are set to attend – a huge step towards the footballing landscape returning to normality.

Here’s how we think Moyes will line up for this one, with just the one injury-enforced change to the team which started against Aston Villa five days ago:

West Ham fans discuss possible Arthur Masuaku replacements .
West Ham were dealt a blow on Thursday night when Arthur Masuaku revealed he has undergone knee surgery. The DR Congo winger turned wing-back underwent an operation to rid himself of a pain he claimed he has felt ‘for nearly two years’, leaving David Moyes with a void in his team for the foreseeable future. The 27-year-old has played a major part in the Hammers’ impressive start to the 2020/21 campaign, and as Moyes considers his options for the game against Leeds tonight, the manager must find a suitable replacement quickly.
