Cardiff City fans are among the most passionate, best and optimistic in football, but what they are seeing from their club at the moment is demoralising them and Tan needs to do something. Right at the moment Neil Harris , however, is the luckiest manager on earth that there are no fans at matches.

Cardiff City fans have had their say on who they want to see as manager after the club announced they had parted company with Neil Harris.

The Bluebirds have endured a rotten run of form of late, losing seven of their last eight games, which has led to much anger and frustration among the fan base.

Calls for the manager to be axed had loudened in recent weeks, with Wednesday night's defeat by QPR the straw that seemingly broke the camel's back.

While he is one of the standout favourites, there is no doubting that it would be an almighty coup if they somehow managed to get him.

Secondly, there is Craig Bellamy. A romantic choice by many City fans, given he has no experience of a senior management role, but is regarded as a club legend for what he did on the pitch for his hometown club.

Bellamy, presuming he would actually want the role given he appears to be enjoying life at Anderlecht, would be an appointment to truly get supporters off their seats.

It would undoubtedly be a gamble, of course, and whether Cardiff can afford that gamble in their current plight is another matter all together. But he would certainly have the backing of the fans for a considerable length of time, you would think.
