Plenty of Celtic supporters have been giving their thoughts on Declan Gallagher after the Motherwell defender turned down a move to the USA. According to the Daily Record, the 30-year-old has rejected the chance to move to Major League Soccer, with Portland Timbers and New York Red Bulls prepared to make offers. Gallagher, who has been linked with a move to Celtic Park recently, is out of contract at Motherwell at the end of the season and is unlikely to pen new terms at Fir Park.

The Scotland defender is out of contract at Fir Park this summer, and thereports that he is aware of interest from Portland Timbers and New York Red Bulls.
Both clubs did their background checks and were confident they could secure a visa, but it's believed that the 30-year-old doesn't think it's financially viable to uproot his family, especially after recently becoming a dad again.
It is reported though that there is interest from Scotland and English Championship.
Gallagher, who is currently out with a hamstring injury, has also been offered a new deal by Motherwell, but the club don't think he will sign it.
