Man City took the lead after 14 minutes when Leander Dendoncker put the ball in his own goal.

Pep Guardiola's side thought they had doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time.

Riyad Mahrez crossed in a ball from the left-hand side and Aymeric Laporte converted from close range.

However, the linesman adjudged the Frenchman to have been offside.

And VAR agreed with the official's call, despite it looking extremely close.
