The wealth of creative options at the Three Lions' disposal has led to debate over which players should start, with Redknapp questioning how you fit all the players into the starting 11.

Mason Mount and Jack Grealish have been similarly impressive this season, and Richards claimed all three would have a starting spot nailed on if he was the England manager.

'This is the problem Southgate has got. You have Mount, Grealish, a lot of players but you can't not start him at the Euros,' said Redknapp.

But Richards added: 'Mount, Grealish and Foden – they all start for me.'
