Along with the Potters, it’s claimed that a number of English clubs and Scottish side Hibernian are also keen on a move for Campbell who will be available for a nominal fee this summer.
As far as seasons go, it has certainly been a decent one for the midfielder.
Campbell has played 39 times so far this season and scored five goals in the process as the 22-year-old establishes himself as a key player for Alexander’s side.
Despite his tender years, Campbell has made 159 appearances for the club in total, including three in this season’s Europe League qualifiers.
What a signing this would be for Stoke City.
Allan Campbell looks like an incredibly talented player and so it’s no surprise that he’s attracting interest from England with a view to a summer move.
For a 22-year-old, he has a wealth of experience at first team level and his discipline and ability on the ball are clearly among his greater assets.
Michael O’Neill is looking for a player to slot into the middle of the park and a move for the Scotland under-21 star could prove to be an absolute bargain.
