West Brom handed boost over "top-class" manager target that should have fans buzzing - opinion

West Brom handed boost over West Bromwich Albion have been handed a boost in their bid to appoint Derek McInnes as Sam Allardyce’s successor at The Hawthorns this summer. What’s the talk? The 53- year - old had looked destined to get back on the managerial horse at The Hawthorns, however. West Brom recently agreed a deal in principle with a man who dragged boyhood club Sheffield United from the third-tier to the brink of European qualification in the space of three seasons, before The West Brom owner is reported to have been spooked by the way Wilder would publicly criticise his Sheffield United bosses; a dramatic falling out with the Blades’ top brass making his position untenable in the end. Lai maybe feared that the straight-talking Yorkshireman would cause problems behind the

Say you look up a regular stock like AAPL, you will find % owned by institutions is 58.69%, AMZN is similar at 59.32%. With this said, this implies that 148.28m*1.0625 = 157.54m shares are owned by institutions . We already discovered that there are only 71.43M shares available. If you bought shares, you own legitimate shares, period. “Fake shares” are only a concern/problem for market makers and hedge funds, as they would be the only ones capable of creating these synthetic shares which at the end of the day they owe back, from you.

West Bromwich Albion are admirers of Barnsley’s Valerien Ismael as they search for a Sam Allardyce successor, according to the Daily Mail.

The Baggies are still yet to find their man to replace ‘Big Sam’, who departed the club following relegation from the Premier League.

Former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder was in pole position to take the job, but West Brom money-man Lai Guochuan had reservations about how Wilder’s time at the Blades ended due to a strained relationship with the owner there.

The plug was pulled on that deal and David Wagner seemed to be the next man who was close to being appointed, but the ex-Huddersfield head coach has opted for Young Boys in Switzerland instead.

After an impressive season with Barnsley, Ismael is said to have supporters at the Baggies, along with former midfielder Michael Appleton who is at Lincoln City, but compensation would need to be paid for either and that’s not something that Guochuan wants to do.

Things can change quickly though and if it does, Ismael becomes a massive contender to take charge in the west Midlands – would he be a good appointment though? We asked the FLW team for their thoughts.

George Dagless

Certainly worth a look.

Ismael’s stock has gone through the roof with the job he has done at Barnsley and, naturally, now could be a good time for him to use that to his advantage and get a big move to a club like West Brom.

Forget Wilder: Guochuan Lai could transform West Brom by landing "exceptional" 40 y/o - opinion

Forget Wilder: Guochuan Lai could transform West Brom by landing With West Bromwich Albion’s search to appoint Sam Allardyce’s successor at The Hawthorns having drawn on for an excruciatingly prolonged period, a door may have just opened that would allow the club to move for the perfect candidate. Having been rejected by a number of their first-choice targets already this summer, a list that includes […]Having been rejected by a number of their first-choice targets already this summer, a list that includes the likes of Roy Hodgson, Frank Lampard, David Wagner and Michael Appleton, as well as the club’s owner, Guochuan Lai, personally vetoing a move for Chris Wilder, it very much appears as if West Brom are running out of options in their managerial search.

After five years he left the job to retrain as a software engineer. In the UK, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) found that people working from home during the pandemic were putting in an The WHO suggests that employers should now take this into account when assessing the occupational health risks of their workers. Capping hours would be beneficial for employers as that had been shown to increase productivity, Mr Pega said.

What’s shockingly obvious at this point is that an insane vaccine experiment has been unleashed in America, and there’s no way to undo it. Now, over 122 million Americans will be subject to the risk of blood clots, medium-term inflammation effects and hyperinflammatory reactions to future pathogens that are likely to appear this coming Fall and Winter. No one knows for sure how many will die, but it looks rather likely that the vaccine may end up killing far more people than the coronavirus pathogen.

Of course, Barnsley will want to go again and challenge for the play-offs at the very least once more next season, but you’d argue West Brom can be promotion contenders providing they get their house in order and start all pulling in the right direction.

Ismael has the character to get the players singing off the same hymn sheet and the style of play to really get the Baggies going – they have some good players and under him they would surely have a chance of winning most games, providing it all clicks.

I can see why Albion are looking at him, and there are certainly worse options out there.

Ned Holmes

This could be a fantastic appoint for the Baggies but it’s not without its risks.

Taking Barnsley to the play-offs was an amazing feat and Ismael deserves a huge amount of credit for it, however, it’s a small sample size to base such a big decision on.

Managing an underdog is different to taking charge of a West Brom side that will be expected to win promotion back to the top flight next term.

I’d love to see them roll the dice on Ismael because he’s got the potential to be a special manager and with the backing of the West Midlands club, next season could be exciting.

Whether Albion are willing to gamble remains to seen.

George Harbey

He’d be a quality appointment, but I can’t see it happening.

Ismael has done a superb job since taking the reins at Barnsley from Gerhard Struber, showing his qualities as a coach and showing that he can galvanise a dressing room too.

His sides like to attack, and I think he’s the type of manager who would get the best out of West Brom’s very obvious attacking, flair players.

But this week has showed that Albion daren’t particularly united off the pitch, whereas there is a clear project and vision at Barnsley, and I think he’d be better off continuing the job at Oakwell.

It would be some coup to lure him away.
