Officials in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire , topped up rugby team's kitty. Players take a 24-hour bus trip every two years to French twin town of Bron. Council said exchange built links and money was only for travel expenses. Rugby club president Jim Cochrane insisted the cash , which is for travel expenses only, showed the council's commitment to Cumbernauld. Unfortunately, Kevin has only managed to raise £2 in total after hosting at least seven public fundraisers for charities across Essex this year already. Kevin Leake, from Bensfleet in Essex, is modelling the notoriously tight-fitting swimwear in a bid to boost body positivity. A prolific fundraiser, Kevin has already set up campaigns for Age UK, Havens Hospices, South East and Central Essex MIND, Comic Relief, HARP and the British Heart Foundation in 2021 alone. A Lanarkshire rugby club will be able to hold a community open day next month after landing a cash boost.

Cambuslang rugby club will also be visited by a Scotland international player at the event, which will be held on August 8.

The club was one of nine star clubs selected by Royal Bank Rugby Force, and will earn them £1000, event kit and an appearance on the day by a Scotland player.

It's the second time in three years the programme has helped Cambuslang, as in 2019 they won the hero club award, which also provided funding for an open day, with appearances by former internationals Jim Hamilton and Rory Lawson.

Malcolm Buchanan, chairman of RBS Scotland Board, told Lanarkshire Live : "After a year where the resilience and spirit of the grassroots game has been tested like never before, we are proud to maintain our continued commitment to the Scottish game.

Warren Gatland admits he doesn’t know who the Lions will face on Wednesday Warren Gatland has had to be as nimble as Cheslin Kolbe on this tour, such is the changing landscape for the Lions in South Africa. © Hamish Watson will start for the Lions against the Sharks at Loftus Versfeld. The ever-present spectre of Covid means plans can be altered at the drop of a hat, and so it was again on Friday when the head coach admitted he didn’t know who his side would be playing on Wednesday. The Lions will face the Sharks in Pretoria on Saturday evening, four days after they walloped them 54-7 in Johannesburg.

I was trying to unlock charged penny and for that you need to get him to pay out 5 times. I had ipecac, so I could bomb my donation machine. 200 pennies and the dude still didn't pay out. I'm not saying you can't mass combine them into something good, I'm saying that a lot of them open up a lot of avenues to kill yourself and unless you have a really good way to avoid that bomb upgrades aren't all they're cracked up to be.

Partygoers can expect a big night out every day this week, with venues desperately organising over 200 events in major party cities in the UK - as they hope to pile in as many punters as possible to make up for lost revenue over the last 16 months. Venues including Fabric, E1, Ministry of Sound and Egg nightclubs in London, Pryzm in Brighton, Powerhouse Night Club in Newcastle and Moon Acre in Dorset re- opened on the stroke of midnight - the very second that most legal restrictions on social contact were removed.

"We are really looking forward to helping rugby clubs across the country to get back on their feet and return to the action on the pitch."

Royal Bank RugbyForce is a nationwide rugby programme in it’s 13th year, having been launched by RBS in association with Scottish Rugby.

More than half a million pounds has been distributed, directly benefiting three-quarters of amateur rugby clubs in Scotland.

With the pandemic causing unprecedented financial pressures, the hope is that this year’s funding will help amateur clubs across Scotland to improve facilities, attract new members and to develop sustainable futures.

The August 8 event will take place in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.

That loss put the Boks under tremendous pressure but they responded in the best possible way as they sealed a 27-9 victory on Saturday. An outstanding second half performance – in which they scored 21 unanswered points – paved the way to a deserved victory.
