Ronaldo touched down in his private jet from Faro at Manchester Airport on Thursday at 5.40pm, and was swiftly taken to a multi-million pound mansion, according to the Sun.Photographs from inside the mansion reveal a swimming pool, gym and cinema room which Ronaldo will be able to enjoy with his young family ahead of the start of training next week.

Manchester United supporters were left livid with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for substituting Cristiano Ronaldo in their Champions League defeat to Young Boys.

Ronaldo, making his first Champions League appearance since his return to United, opened the scoring after 13 minutes but Young Boys equalised and Solskjaer then elected to take Ronaldo off in the 72nd minute, with Jesse Lingard replacing him.

The decision proved to be costly, with Lingard giving the ball away late on and Young Boys scoring the winner through Jordan Siebatcheu against a United side who had Aaron Wan-Bissaka sent off in the 35th minute.
