Fan group The Green Brigade are celebrating the five year anniversary of the united standing section at Parkhead.

Formed in 2006 and inspired by the 'Ultra' movement which began in Italy in the 1950s.

The organisation bring loud and colourful support to Celtic Park, though have been criticised by the club at various points in their history.

Former chief executive Peter Lawwell bemoaned UEFA fines partly caused by the group's behaviour, as did Neil Lennon.

After a controversial display at Udinese in 2011 he fumed: "I can’t understand what they are thinking. Are they even Celtic fans? I’d be dubious about calling them that.

The group said: "Five years ago, the Green Brigade established North Curve Celtic to unite fans in the Standing Section under one common goal.

"Today, North Curve Celtic numbers at almost 1,000 and marks our 5 year anniversary with our first tifo fully designed, prepared and setup by our members."
