And now former American tennis star Andy Roddick has had his say on what he would like to see from the Bromley local as she aims to build on her remarkable success.

"What she did at the US open was unbelievable, but it was largely without expectation of 'hey, if you win this final it's bad for you'", the former world number one told Tennis Channel.

"What I want to see is those consistent weeks where she is winning three matches, or winning four matches every week, that would be the next benchmark if I'm on her team.

"Let's get this consistency dialed in, so that our baseline is top 20 in the world and our upper echelon is what you did at the US Open which we all saw and were amazed by."

Last week, Raducanu took to Instagram to reflect on her breakout season and thanked her team and the fans for the incredible support.

The tennis superstar will begin next season with Torben Beltz as her new coach after a lengthy search for Andrew Richardson's replacement.

The German prevously worked with former World No 1 and Raducanu's idol Angelique Kerber.

"You guys cracked it. It's obviously a great privilege to be working with such an experienced coach," the 19-year-old said when announcing the latest addition to her team after ending her season.

"I'm definitely very excited to work with him throughout the pre-season and into next year so things are looking up and it's a very, very positive feeling, very excited about all the work that is to come."
