'Very vulnerable' London girl, 15, feared abducted in Malaysia Police in Malaysia are treating the disappearance of a "very vulnerable" 15-year-old London girl as an abduction and a missing person case, a charity has said. Nora Quoirin, who has learning difficulties, went missing while on a family holiday in the southeast Asian country. A spokesperson for the Lucie Blackman Trust who have been handling media and supporting the family said: "The Lucie Blackman Trust can confirm with great sadness that the body found today is that of missing teenager Nora Quoirin. Local police have confirmed identification.

"The Charity will update as soon as possible. Please respect the family and do not approach them at this difficult time.

"All at The Lucie Blackman Trust are thinking of the family and continue to support them as they come to terms with this news."

Earlier today by a member of the search and rescue team as the hunt entered its tenth day in the jungle.

The body was found naked and police have refused to rule out 'foul play'.

The body was transported to hospital by helicopter, where Nora's parents Meabh, who hails from Belfast and Sebastien Quoirin headed to identify it, a press conference heard.

NORA Quoirin 's devastated parents have identified a naked body found by a jungle waterfall as their missing Nora 's aunt arrives shortly after her niece's body was found in Malaysia. Local police chief Mohamad Mat Yusop has now said her family have confirmed the body found is that of Nora .

Malyasia’s deputy police chief Mazlan Mansor said: "The body resembles Nora but it is yet to be confirmed by the family.

"The body was moved by helicopter to hospital.

"We have informed the family of the news. They are now going to the mortuary to identify the body."

The police chief added later in the press conference: "We are quite, very, certain but are waiting for the family to visit the hospital."

A man earlier phoned the police hotline to say he had found the body. The discovery was made by a waterfall as the search entered its tenth day in the jungle.

Malaysian police confirmed on Tuesday that rescuers had found the body of a Caucasian female in the forest surrounding the nature resort where Nora was reported missing.

Mr Mansor told reporters the body had been found beside a small stream about 2.5 kilometres from the resort.

SEREMBAN, Malaysia (AP) — The family of a 15-year-old London teen who was found dead nine days after she disappeared from a Malaysian forest resort said Friday they will bring her body home and hope to find answers to their many questions about her death. Police have ruled out foul play, saying the autopsy showed that Nóra Anne Quoirin died of intestinal bleeding due to starvation and stress. Police said there was no evidence that she was abducted or raped. Her naked body was found Tuesday beside a small stream about 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) from the Dusun eco-resort after she went missing Aug. 4 from her family's resort cottage.
