Motorcyclist (30s) dies following crash in Tipperary

  Motorcyclist (30s) dies following crash in Tipperary Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident on the Ballinderry Road just outside Puckane. The man had been travelling on a motorbike and collided with a parked vehicle.He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will be carried out. The road remains closed this morning and local diversions are in place, pending an examination from garda forensic teams.

Four cyclists have been hospitalised in Australia, one of them in a critical condition, following a crash caused when they hit the carcass of a dead kangaroo while riding near Shepparton, Victoria. Two of the cyclists sustained serious fractures in the crash , which happened early this morning, reports 9 News

Two cyclists have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car in Co Down .

They were travelling on Killyleagh Road in Downpatrick when the collision happened.

It is not known which part of the country they had cycled from. Both were treated at the scene and have been transported to hospital.

Their condition is unknown at this time.

Police said: " Killyleagh Road in Downpatrick has been closed due to a collision. Motorists should avoid the area at present."
