Burglars steal £1m jewellery haul from mansion while family inside
Burglars scaled the walls of a north London mansion and stole more than £1m worth of jewellery, while the family were inside. An unknown number of people broke into the Haringey home while a woman in her thirties and her children were inside on 14 November at about 5pm.The suspects got away through a first floor window and made off with jewellery, designer clothing and a "substantial" amount of cash.Images of some of the stolen items have been released and have been described as having "huge sentimental" value to the woman - including earrings, rings and necklaces.

Police investigating up to 80 burglaries in North Wales and Chester have arrested four people.
Detectives raided five homes on Watery Road, North Road, Nelson Street, Walnut Street and Hampden Court inas part of an operation into an organised crime group.
Burglars have targeted farms and large homes in rural areas including Eaton, Malpas, Manley, Chester and Huxley over the last 18 months.
Since April 2018, items including quad bikes, saddles, motorbikes and cameras have been stolen - with the value estimated to be around £1m.

Two men aged 23 and 26 and two women aged 26 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary between August 2017 and July 2019.
They are currently in custody waiting to be questioned by detectives.

During this morning's raids, officers seized a quad bike and power tools.

Greenwich police have made two arrests in a 10-month million residential burglary spree that they said spanned several Connecticut towns. In the last two months, Greenwich police have filed charges against the men, who have been arrested in several towns.
