Police had closed the road in both directions but it has since reopened. It's understood no one has sustained any life-threatening injuries in the incident. Meanwhile, on Westlink a collision after the Clifton Street onslip heading towards M2/M3 has been cleared and traffic is beginning to return to normal.

The crash was reported on County Line Road near Holly Road just before 3:30 p.m. Initially, only the westbound lanes of County Line Road were closed , but about 20 minutes later, both directions had Arapahoe County deputies said the fatal crash happened after a driver rear-ended a dump truck.

Police have closed a road in Co Down following a collision this evening.

Motorists are being advised to seek an alternative route following a RTC on the Ballymiscaw Road, Holywood.

Emergency Services are currently at the scene and the road has been closed in both directions.

A PSNI spokesperson said: Police are currently dealing with a Road Traffic Collision on the Ballymiscaw Road, Holywood and it is currently closed in both directions while emergency services deal with the incident.

"It would be advised to avoid the area and find another route for your journey."

Details of any injuries are not available at this stage.
