  Coulson Aviation names three aerial firefighters who died in NSW tanker crash A US aerial firefighting company has named the crew of three Americans killed in an air tanker crash on Thursday in south-east New South Wales. In a post to Facebook, Coulson Aviation (USA) named captain Ian McBeth, first officer Paul Hudson and flight engineer Rick DeMorgan Jr as the aerial firefighting crew who died in the crash of the C-130 Large Air Tanker north-east of Cooma.The company said its deepest condolences were with the family and friends of those who died.The Rural Fire Service (RFS) was leasing aircraft from the North American company to help fight bushfires.

A biker who tragically died following a car crash in Conwy on Thursday night has been named.

Motorcyclist Lee James Roberts, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle collision on the B5106 near  Ty'n y Gores.

Mr Roberts, from the Penmaenmawr area, was riding his motorbike when it was involved in a crash with a Vauxhall Astra at around 9.30pm on January 23.

North Wales Live reported that emergency services were called to the scene but sadly they were unable to save his life.

His family have now paid tribute to Mr Roberts, describing him as "a friend to everyone."

Anne Sacoolas has been charged by British prosecutors with causing death by dangerous driving over the crash that killed 19-year-old motorcyclist Harry Dunn. Dunn died in August after his motorbike collided with a car driven by Sacoolas outside RAF Croughton, a British military base in central England used by U.S. forces. Sacoolas, whose husband was an intelligence officer at the base, returned to the U.S. soon afterwards.

They said: “We as a family are devastated by the loss of Lee. He was a much loved son and brother.

"Lee was clever, hardworking, caring and funny.

"We will miss his practical jokes.

"He was always there to talk to and enjoyed travelling all over the world.

"Lee loved animals and was a friend to everyone. We will miss him so much.

"We ask as a family that we are left in peace to support one another.”

North Wales Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision which closed the road for six hours.
