Man rushed to hospital after being hit by car in horror Glasgow crash
The 51-year-old was walking along Rodney Street when he was struck by a BMW around 5.45pm on Tuesday February 4. He was rushed to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where his condition is described as serious. The driver of the car was uninjured but has been left badly shaken by the incident. Police Scotland are appealing for anyone with any information regarding the incident, in particular, any dash cam footage. Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances of the crash and anyone with information is asked to call Road Policing Officers in Glasgow via 101, quoting incident number 2766 of Tuesday, 4 February, 2020.
Firefighters have raced to the scene of a blaze inside a car park incity centre.
Around four appliances rushed to the incident on Hydepark Street at around 5.30pm on Friday.
Smoke billowed out of the building asofficials put their efforts into a vehicle that appeared to be up in flames.
Emergency services taped off the road as crews try to bring the fire under control.

Police remain at Govanhill Street in the south side of the city as they continue to investigate the "unexplained" death.Emergency services raced to Govanhill Street in the south side of the city at around 9am on Wednesday morning.
It is unclear if the flats above will be evacuated as a result of the incident.
Police vehicles were also spotted on the scene.
A spokesperson forsaid: "We were called to a vehicle fire on Lancefield Quay at around 5.30pm.
"No one was in the vehicle at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the incident."
