The Prince of Wales will be meeting some of the skilled costume and prop-makers from the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) as part of a visit to Warwickshire.

Charles will be shown examples of the 40,000 items which make up the RSC’s costume store and tour the site of the on-going multi-million pound redevelopment of the company’s existing Costume Workshop buildings.

As part of the visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, the prince will also view a short performance from The Boy in the Dress at the RSC’s The Other Place venue, a short walk from its main riverside theatre.

Later in Coventry, Charles will officially open the National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) at the University of Warwick’s main campus site on the outskirts of the city.
