Ieuan Bennett, defending, said his client had been in custody for nearly three months, having been remanded on December 30. He pointed out the officer was not injured and Bradbury was found to present a low risk of re-offending.

Judge Jenkins noted: “You were clearly in a difficult situation at Christmas time of last year.”
