Hundreds of men, women and children are currently searching the area in which Noah Donohoe was last sighted.

The 14-year-old schoolboy, from South Belfast, went missing on Sunday evening, June 21, at around 5.30pm.

Fiona Donohoe, Noah's mum posted a heartbreaking post on Facebook as she searches for her "baby".

She posted: "I am so overwhelmed by the support of people coming together to help find my son.

"It is actually giving me and my family the strength to fight for him to be found. I just wish at this stage people would start offering for their houses to be searched so that shelter could be eliminated. The police can't ask to search but in this situation if people in the vicinity could find it in their hearts to say please search my house to eliminate areas of question.

The youngster was then seen on Ormeau Avenue at 5.45pm on Sunday evening. He is then sighted again on Royal Avenue heading towards York Street a short time after.

A PSNI statement added: "Noah was then seen on North Queen Street heading towards the Limestone Road at 5:57pm. An eyewitness believes they saw a young male matching Noah’s description fall off his bicycle on Sunday evening, possibly sustaining a head injury, in the vicinity of North Queen Street/York Street, but we do not know the specific time.

“We believe Noah got back on his bicycle, cycling into Northwood Road where he then abandons all his clothing, as he is seen a short time later cycling while naked. We believe Noah then dropped his bicycle and left the area on foot.

“There have been no further confirmed sightings of Noah since 6.08pm on Sunday. Police officers supported by air support unit, police dogs and our tactical support group have been searching the area alongside community rescue service colleagues and local volunteers.

A social media campaign driven by the North Belfast community has organised today's searches of the Seaview Park area.

DUP Councillor Dean McCullough is helping with the searches today.

He told Belfast Live: "There has been a phenomenal response again. We have broken up into teams and are going to start at the top of Seaview and the bottom and meet in the middle. We are searching the more awkward areas.

"We are going to keep searching, we are not going to stop searching. Our thoughts and our prayers are with Noah and his family and we are going to be here all day. So if you can, come down to the immediate area of Seaview and just join one of the teams.

"We are going to be here. We are going to be searching. And thank you to everybody who has come down this morning and who have supported the search."
