Woman driver critical after ‘assault’ following road crash The incident took place at Gants Hill roundabout in Redbridge, east London, on Friday evening. Police said they are investigating a report that the woman, who was driving a Kia Picanto, was assaulted by the male driver of the second car involved in the crash – a Toyota Yaris. Officers called to the scene just after 6.50pm “immediately” gave the woman first aid ahead of the arrival of London Ambulance Service. She was taken to an east London hospital where she is in a critical condition. A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is in custody at an east London police station.

Dublin Fire Brigade responded to a bizarre collision involving two construction vehicles yesterday.

The incident, which happened on a construction site in Lucan, saw the front wheel of one vehicle land inside the cabin of another.

One person was taken to hospital after being treated on scene by firefighters and paramedics from the Tallaght station.

Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Unusual collision in Lucan today between two construction vehicles on a building site.

"Tallaght Firefighter/Paramedics attended the scene, one person treated on scene and transported to hospital."

One person was taken to hospital in serious condition after a taxi and another vehicle reportedly collided in an Annex intersection early Sunday morning. The collision happened at Bathurst and Bloor streets at around 5:40 a.m. Reports from the scene suggest that a taxi and another vehicle collided

There was also an unexpected delivery for both DFB and the National Ambulance Service in Dublin yesterday.

Following a call to a house fire, firefighters and paramedics from DFB HQ were called to help assist the arrival of an impatient baby alongside the NAS.

They confirmed mum and baby are doing well.
