Met Eireann has predicted that we can expect to see wintry showers and freezing temperatures from Friday night. According to the forecaster it will be ‘coldest in Ulster with moderate to fresh westerly winds which will be strong near northern coasts.’

Temperatures according to the National Forecaster will range between 5°C in the North and in 11°C South.

The weather will take a turn for the worse on Saturday night with wintery showers moving in from the east.

Temperatures will reach as low as 0°C.

The forecast for Sunday isn’t much better. While we can expect to see some sunny spells, the rain, hail, sleet and snow will persist.  It will also be slightly colder than Saturday with  highest temperatures of 4°C -7°C.
