The incident happened at Finsbury Park in Dundrum at around 8pm this evening.

A 19-year-old has died following a stabbing in south Dublin on Friday night.

The man was rushed to St James's Hospital following the incident at Finsbury Park in Dundrum.

He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving in hospital, Dublin Live reports.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the scene at Finsbury Park is currently sealed off by gardai.

Gardai are also asking for anyone with information or who may have been a witness to get in touch.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Dundrum, Dublin 14 are investigating the death of a 19 year old man following an incident this evening, Friday May 10 2019.

"At approximately 8.10pm a 19 year old man received an apparent stab wound at Finsbury Park, Dundrum.

"He was treated at the scene by emergency services and taken to St James Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later. No arrests have been made.

"The scene at Finsbury Park is sealed off pending a Garda forensic examination.
