The incident happened just over a mile away on Nutgrove Avenue just ten minutes after Azzam's killing.

A 15-year-old was rushed to hospital after being attacked by a gang of youths, Dublin Live reports.

He was stabbed in the leg during the attack and was left bleeding heavily.

Gardai said the investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made.

A spokesperson said: “A male youth aged in is mid-teens sustained an apparent stab wound during an incident on Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown at approximately 8.20pm on the 10/5/2019,
