The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is investigating the death of a man following an industrial accident in Co Wexford.

The male, aged in his mid 50s, was pronounced dead following the incident in the early hours of this morning at Larkin’s Cross.

His body has been removed to Wexford General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Gardaí said that scenes of crime officers are also carrying out an examination of the site.

Officers in Wexford are investigating and a file will be prepared for the local coroner.

The HSA said the incident was reported to them and that they are carrying out their own investigation.

The girl collapsed in a car park in Northallerton at around 9.30pm on Saturday. She died later in hospital.
