A driver was found by Gardai playing the saxophone in a white van , parked on a hard shoulder on the M 50 , over the weekend. Pic: Collins. Taking to Twitter, Gardai shared a photo of the van in question. When they checked out the van , they discovered a man playing the saxophone .

After noticing that this particular van was parked on the hard shoulder, the Gardaí went in for a closer inspection. Moments later, they discovered that the driver was parked M 50 Motorway patrol stopped to check out a van parked on hard shoulder only to find the driver sitting inside playing saxophone !

A person was discovered by Gardai playing the saxophone inside a van.

The driver was parked and sitting inside, playing some tunes.

Perplexed Gardai made the discovery when the spotted the van on a hard shoulder on the M50.

Taking to Twitter, Gardai shared a photo of the van in question.

‘Give him a break, who hasn’t been caught in a traffic jam before,’ one said.

Another referenced breath-tests, writing: ‘Sir, would you mind blowing into this?

A third joked: ‘Did you charge him under the Saxual Offences Act?’
