Lamb twins wowing family park visitors after being born completely different colours An unusual pair of twin lambs are wowing visitors at a family park after being born completely different colours. The siblings’ distinctive appearance - one black and one white - is baffling park bosses, who say it’s unusual for twin lambs to be a completely different colour. Their mother is a black cheviot sheep but it is still not known who she mated with after the lambs to produce the rare colour combination. The lambs, who haven’t yet been given names, were born on April 29 at East Links Family Park, in Dunbar, East Lothian. Park manager Barry Cowan said: "I believe for them to be born like that is quite rare, we just don't know how rare it is.

An Irish mother of two has died in a ‘tragic accident’ in California, friends have said.

Geraldine Barry, 55, who’s originally from Cashel, Co Tipperary had been living in the Californian city of San Jose, died on May 15.

Mrs Barry is thought to have recently returned to work after a hiatus period by working with an organisation that helps people deal with the grief of losing someone.

The Cashel woman founded and served as President of the San Jose Real Estate Investors Association (SJREI).
