Fine Gael complains to Facebook over ads for website targeting Maria Walsh and 'the homosexual lifestyle' The website is designed to look like a campaign site in favour of the Walsh’s candidacy but instead casts her in a negative light. The website is found at a web address similar to the candidate’s mariawalsh.eu website. The website’s homepage says that it “is not affiliated to Maria Walsh’s campaign”. The homepage states: “Maria Walsh is running for MEP. But before you vote for her, make sure that you know what she stands for.” The website specifically targets Walsh for her work as an LGBT advocate and says that she has used the term homophobia “as a weapon”.

A suspected motive for the murders is that both victims owed money to a callous Kinahan-aligned gangland thug who ordered the hits.

A source said: “They were very close pals with Zach Parker. He was shot in January in Swords. He owed money, thought to be €30,000, to a Kinahan-linked gang.

“He was shot because of this drug debt. Sean Little was best friends with him and then Jordan Davis was pals with Little.

“They all lived the high life, going on holidays to Dubai to visit fellow drug gang members hiding there, but they really didn’t understand what they were getting into.”

Firefighters discovered the first murder after they received the call about a burning vehicle. They discovered Little’s body 10ft from what was his own Opel Insignia.

“The prevalence of gun-related violence has continued to intensify and it is essential all possible resources are provided to protect the public.

“This afternoon’s shooting took place near a national school and both staff and pupils are likely to have only made their way home in the hour or so beforehand. That is a terrifying precedent.

“It is apparent these shootings will continue unless there is adequate intervention. Condemnation is not enough.

“The Minister for Justice needs immediately to examine what extension of resources can be given to gardai to bring this outbreak of serious violence under control.”

Gardai investigating the Darndale murder said it occurred at a laneway adjacent to Our Lady Immaculate National School at around 4pm.

A spokesman added: “A man in his 20s was shot a number of times and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area shortly before 4pm to contact Coolock Garda station on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
