A documentary following the final journey of one of Ireland’s bravest women has been released on the RTE player.

Laura Brennan, originally from Co Clare, was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 24.

She spent her final years working closely with the HSE to promote the HPV vaccination, touching lives of those across the country with her appearances on TV and on the radio.

Her final wishes were to concentrate on living.

‘You only have one life, so why not make it a happy one?’ she says.

Laura was determined that every parent in Ireland who was about to make the decision whether their daughter was to be vaccinated against HPV, would hear her story first.
