High-ranking FAI officials believe it could be another couple of weeks before the full consequences of the cyber attack on the association become clear.

Forensic scientists are still working to establish the extent of the damage caused by the hacking of its email servers.

It has emerged that experts from KPMG have been called in to help the FAI with its enquiries into the latest storm to engulf the football body.

They join the list of big firms who have staff assigned to troubleshooting in Abbotstown.
