On Wednesday morning, August 14, Medical Staff at Children's Health Ireland, Temple Street reported concerns to gardaí for the welfare of the boy who had attended the hospital for treatment. The infant boy is continuing to receive medical treatment at the hospital this morning. A spokesman for the Gardaí told Dublin Live that they "are currently investigating all the circumstances of this incident." The spokesman added that there would be no further information at this time.

A man has been hospitalised after being attacked with a hammer during a break-in in North Dublin.

Gardai are on the hunt for two robbers who escaped with cash from a house in Rush in the early hours of Friday morning.

The victim had been home with his family on Whitestown Road when two men came into the house and attacked him before making their escape.

The man was rushed to Beaumont Hospital while gardai say the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardai are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in the early hours of Friday 23rd August, 2019 at a house on Whitestown Road.
