Gardaí attended the scene of the crash at around 10:30am at Junction 11, Northbound.

The slip road and one lane was left closed following the traffic incident which saw one woman being brought to hospital.

She is still receiving treatment where her injuries are being described by gardaí as not serious.

All lanes at the junction reopened following the incident but significant delays were in place for a time during the busy commuter time.
