A man has been shot a number of times in north Dublin this evening. Emergency services raced to the scene after the 30-year-old was shot at a house on Streamville Road in Donaghmede. The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital in a serious condition, Dublin Live reports.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are at the scene of a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 7.10pm today, Friday, 6th September 2019, at a house on Streamville Road in Donaghmede, Dublin 13. "A 30 year old male sustained a number of gunshot wounds and was taken to Beaumont Hospital in a serious condition. "The scene is currently preserved. Investigations are ongoing.

Dublin Bus stops serving busy route due to 'mindless' anti-social behaviour.
The 40 bus route, which operates on a route between Charlestown Shopping Centre and Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, was stopped for over an hour due to the behaviour. A spokesperson for Dublin Bus apologised to those affected in a statement, saying: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti-social behaviour route 40 will not serve Neilstown Rd/Fonthill Rd for the next hour. "Nearest stop is Coldcut Road. Normal Service will resume at 11pm. "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused." Former South Dublin Mayor Mark Ward slammed the behaviour as "mindless" and called on those responsible to stop.
