A lucky Irish punter has scooped a staggering €2.5 million in tonight's EuroMillions draw.

However there was once again no winner of the €190 million jackpot, which will roll over one more time next week.

But there was some good news as one Irish player matched all five numbers and one lucky star to take home a mammoth prize of €2,521,015.

The winning numbers in Friday's draw were 6, 9, 35, 41, 44, and the two lucky stars were 6 and 9.

There was also no winner of the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw, where the winning numbers were 15, 43, 44, 46, 49.

A total of 130,000 players around Ireland won prizes in the draw, so make sure to check those tickets!
