Saturday marked 24 years since the 21-year-old from Callan, Co Kilkenny, vanished.

She was reported missing while hitching a lift in Moone, Co Kildare, in 1995.

Now a clergyman hopes the anonymous letter which he received will help to shed some light on her tragic disappearance.

Fr Purcell yesterday attended a remembrance ceremony for her at the statue to missing people in Kilkenny Castle grounds.
