Gardaí and other emergency services attended the scene of the crash . A man in his late 30s has died following a collision between a van and a tractor in Co Cork. The man has been named as Patrick McMahon from Churchtown in north Co Cork.

Gardai and the emergency services are at the scene of the collision, which will remain closed "for the next number of hours", he added. AA Roadwatch have warned of traffic delays and Dublin Bus have diverted routes 15, 15A, 65 and 65B which travel by Terenure Road East. DUBLIN: Terenure Rd East

Gardai and Emergency Services rushed to the scene in Churchtown on Friday morning shortly after 8am.

The male cyclist was taken to hospital following the collision that took place on Dodder Park Road in the area.

Thankfully, his injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening and local diversions remain in place.

Emergency services are dealing with a number of collisions on the M1 this morning.The M1 northbound is currently closed between junction 10 Drogheda and junction 12 Dunleer as emergency services deal with a collision, AA Roadwatch said.
