EuroMillions bosses have announced that it has been a record-breaking year for players in Ireland after a winning ticket for Friday’s draw was sold in Meath.

The luck of the Irish seems to be really playing its part in this year’s EuroMillions according to an official statement.

Another winning EuroMillions plus ticket was sold this week with one lucky punter grabbing the €500,000 jackpot.

The win made it the 29th top plus prize winner of 2019 with a record 256 million win in Irish prizes so far this year.

Announcing the news, EuroMillions confirmed that last night’s winning Quick Pick ticket was only sold yesterday at the Tara News store in Healy’s SuperValu in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath.

With the winner yet to come forward, locals are now being encouraged to check their tickets to see if they have the lucky numbers and have bagged the massive €500k prize.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers for last night’s draw were: 14, 25, 26, 31, 37

Next week is also set to be a big one for Irish players as the National Lottery confirmed that it will make two new guaranteed Irish millionaires.
